João Couto

CEO

With more than 30 years of international experience in the Corporate world, João Couto decided to embrace a new professional career as advisor and as entrepreneur creating, together with his wife, a new real estate company - Valor e Atitude Lda, leveraging on their prior vast experience with house renovations and new builds.

João Couto is now the CEO of Valor e Atitude Lda, responsible for strategy and investments. Prior to this, João Couto spent 12 years at Microsoft with multiple responsibilities as an executive member of Microsoft EMEA Leadership team responsible for all commercial cloud business across Europe, Middle East and Africa, VP responsible for SAP worldwide Business Unit, COO in Germany and CEO of Microsoft Portugal.

Prior, João Couto had leadership responsibilities as CFO for 6 years at Vodafone Group, both in the headquarters in London-UK as CFO for Vodafone Group Commercial and as CFO of Vodafone Portugal. Prior, João Couto spent 9 years in management consulting at Kearney as a Vice President and Partner.

João Couto holds a computer science engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Universidade Católica also in Portugal.

Filipa Couto

Operations, Marketing & Sales

With more than 20 years of experience, Filipa is now a shareholder at Valor e Atitude LDA responsible for marketing, sales and operations.

Prior, Filipa Couto was fully dedicated to support her family, including her husband's international career and their daugther and son growth and development.

Prior, Filipa Couto held multiple leadership and senior management positions across a variety of functions and industries as shareholder and General Manager at Aysensi LDA, a scent marketing company, as Product Manager at ViaVerde SA (payments and highway toll free company in Portugal), as Customer Service Director for Ticketing at Euro 2004 football tournment, as Customer Service Director at Postlog - CTT Expresso , Customer Service trainer at Novis (telco company now called NOS) and telemarketing at both Telecel (now Vodafone) and TLP (now Altice SA).

Filipa holds a Master in Business Administration from Universidade Católica in Portugal and a Psychology degree from Lusofóna University in Lisbon.
